  • I approach every wedding day as both an observer and a gentle guide. I let the day unfold naturally while offering subtle direction and posing that never pulls you away from being present with your loved ones. I always tell my couples: your wedding shouldn't feel like a production. My goal is for you to feel like yourselves in front of my camera, unfiltered and at ease. If I see a moment unfolding naturally, I might ask you to keep going so I can capture it fully, but I’ll never ask you to reenact anything that doesn’t feel true to you. That same philosophy carries through to family portraits — intentional, relaxed, and genuine.

  • Absolutely. Film is an integral part of my process as a photographer. Film adds a depth, texture, and timelessness that elevates storytelling in a way digital simply can’t replicate—bringing a soulful, artful quality to your imagery that feels both nostalgic and sincere.

    For most weddings, I shoot approximately 30% medium format film and 70% digital. For smaller sessions like portraits or family shoots, I often lean more heavily into film depending on the light, flow, and creative direction. After your shoot, I send the rolls to my trusted lab, where each roll is developed and scanned into high-resolution digital files. I hold onto the negatives, just as I do with raw digital files, as part of your visual archive.

  • Yes! My cameras have taken me to Italy, France, across Canada and California. I love travelling just as much as I love photography, and I’ll take any opportunity to hop on a plane!

  • We’ll decide on a rain check up to 24 hours before your shoot, as the forecast in BC can change quickly. If needed, we’ll work together to reschedule right away. As for rain on your wedding day, while it’s considered lucky, we understand it may not be what you envisioned. In that case, we’ll work with your wedding planner to navigate any challenges and ensure we capture beautiful shots without compromising your comfort.

  • The first step is to reach out and inquire about your wedding or shoot date and what you're looking for. Once we connect, I’ll send over an online pricing guide for you to explore. From there, we can schedule a time to discuss more about your vision and what collection might be the best fit. After our meeting, I’ll put together a custom proposal based on your needs. A 50% retainer and signed contract are required to officially secure your date. I book on a first-come, first-serve basis and typically book up to a year and a half in advance.

  • For full-day wedding coverage, you can expect a minimum of 400 high resolution digital and film images. For portrait and brand shoots, the number varies, but my focus is always on quality over quantity.
